A Proud American

This was a comment on our website today:

It amazes me how naive most Americans are when it comes to how blessed we are as a country. It is NO accident. Our freedoms of religion, speech, and the way of life most citizens of other countries envy, was won with the blood of our ancestors and those currently serving to defend those rights. If September 11th didn’t teach you anything about the forces that want to see America defeated and its citizens brutally slayed or silenced, you are in for a rude awakening when your country is occupied by terrorists and you no longer have the privilege to complain about your government without facing execution.
Ask a Cuban-American who has escaped Castro’s regime, who they feel compelled to vote for given their past experience. I fear that accountability will be the learned the hard way, when its too late to change the course of our country.

Well said….I too hope that people take note of the changes that are happening right under their noses.
