MSNBC says, “Joe didn’t walk off. He chose not to participate in the final couple of minutes of the discussion because he felt the conversation didn’t fit his role as a political analyst.”

After the disagreement, with Scarborough gone during the “Panel Predictions” segment, Maddow worked to quell any outstanding problems, saying, “First of all Joe and I will go out for a beer and hash this all out, that’s my prediction.”

Scarborough is not on tonight’s Race, but TVNewser hears it has nothing to do with what happened last night and he most likely will be on again soon.

“I don’t engage in Crossfire-type debates and certainly I don’t want to talk about what people do in bathrooms.” The mic removal comes about 2:45 into the clip.
