Chelsea Says Clintons Will Give Citizenship to Illegals
EAST CHICAGO, Ind. (AP) — Chelsea Clinton is back in Indiana to campaign on behalf of her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Chelsea Clinton spoke to a Hispanic organization in East Chicago Sunday evening. She said her mother would push immigration reforms that would bring illegal immigrants “out of the shadows” and allow them to be eligible for citizenship.
Chelsea Clinton will begin her day Monday in Lawrenceburg, then visit Indiana State University in Terre Haute and Purdue University in West Lafayette.
On Tuesday, she’s scheduled to be at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana University Southeast in New Albany and Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis.
