What is a liberal?
A liberal is somebody who says that it all depends on how you define the word “is”.
A liberal thinks that the government exists because we the people are too stupid to live productive lives without its help.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that the government is the cure, not the problem.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that the biggest government is the best government.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that the government knows better than the people how to manage education, healthcare, and business.
A liberal thinks that socialized healthcare actually works.
A liberal thinks that the federal government is doing a great job of improving America’s K-12 educational system.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that the best and only way to improve education (and whatever else in wrong in society) is to throw more tax dollars at it.
A liberal thinks that more government relgulation of small businesses is a great thing.
A liberal thinks that the government exists to hand out money to make our lives better.
A liberal thinks that they deserve to be given money by the government.
A liberal believes the Marxist ideology “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need”.
A liberal believes that the rich exist only to give money to the poor.
A liberal, therefore, thinks that the rich deserve to be taxed into oblivion.
A liberal believes that taxes are the government’s money, not the peoples’ money given to the government.
A liberal is somebody who believes that religion is great, but only if it’s kept in the home.
A liberal believes in tolerance and diversity.
A liberal is somebody who tolerates all religions as equally valid except the religion that they won’t tolerate, Christianity.
A liberal is somebody who believes that Christianity is great once Christ gets removed.
A liberal believes that anybody who believes in absolute truth is absolutely wrong.
A liberal is somebody who believes in moral relativism…that people alone determine what is right and wrong for them.
A liberal believes in situational ethics…that ethics, morality, and the like change as needed depending on the situation.
A liberal believes that a strong military is a liability, that the United States’ best hope of staying safe is to rely on the UN and appeasement.
A liberal is somebody who believes that we can all get along if we can but talk and understand each other.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that radical Islamic fundamentalists want to talk to us, not kill us.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that national security shouldn’t be a top priority.
A liberal is somebody who thinks that the Constitution is a living document that can and should be interpreted according to the times, not the intent of the Founding Fathers.
In short, a liberal is somebody who wants to turn the United States of America into Western Europe.
