A new study reveals the cost of illegal immigration is costing border counties millions of dollars each year.

Researchers say, in Arizona’s four border counties, costs increased to nearly $26 million dollars in the 2006 fiscal year.

Law enforcement and criminal prosecuters say illegal immigration is diverting money away from parks, libraries and other law-enforcement efforts.

The University of Arizona and San Diego State University conducted the study.

I think any county in the country would be happy to add millions and millions of dollars to their bottom line.
